Best graduate in Germany: A brilliant performance by MAB trainee Felix Meierhöfer

Weiden. Nine graduates of the vocational training at the IHK Regensburg for the Upper Palatinate / Kelheim are among the best in their fields of expertise nationwide this year. Among the production technologists is Felix Meierhöfer, who has been working for MAB GmbH in Weiden the best graduate in Germany.

IHK President Michael Matt congratulated the award-winning trainees, "who, despite difficult general conditions in the Corona year have reached their peak". Due to the Corona Pandemic unfortunately there will be no date for the award ceremony.

The former "MABzubi" Felix Meierhöfer, who completed the training within only two years instead of the usual three years, was the best graduate of his year with an average grade of 1.0 in the vocational school certificate. He had already received the State Prize for this from the government of the Upper Palatinate. In his final examination, the production technologist, who has been studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich since this winter semester, achieved an impressive 96%. In his final thesis, he focused on the "Optimization of a plant assembly" using the example of a real product development at MAB GmbH.

MAB CEO Marco Bauer was enthusiastic: "We are incredibly proud. Felix has more than earned these awards. For us as a training company, this is a great recognition and an impressive confirmation of our commitment to sound and practical training".
